The Project
The European School of Highland Dance, New Zealand Technique
New Zealand is one of the countries where the Irish and Scottish diaspora landed. The settlers preserved with the utmost respect traditions from their past. In 1946, the New Zealand Academy of Highland and National Dancing was created around the stabilisation of the best sources, sanctioned by very competent dance masters both local and from Scotland.
